    MP C4502 firmware update

    I am trying to do firmware update on a MP C4502. When the screen come up everything looks normal, old & new firmware versions, I touch the one I wan up dated, the update box appears, but when i touch the update it just beeps and doesn't do anything else, tried both touch screen and keys no dif. No errors Any ideas? Thanks

    How long are you waiting before attempting the update? 5 minutes is not unusual. The newer "03" series takes even longer before you can execute the firmware update even thought the screen will show the firmware versions. I am sure the "02" series takes a little longer than the C3000's/C2800's etc.

      try whith another SD card

        If JAVA is installed and you did not stop it before shutting to install updates, you have to wait until JAVA has initialized.

        I had an instance where everything looked normal but when I hit update, it immediately came back to update done. It was a bad SD card. The folder entries were there but the files didn't read.
