ricoh mpc2050.
I'm quite new to working with Ricoh's and need to setup user security codes for the above machine. I'm sure it is simple enough but can someone tell me the procedure for doing this?

Really? The vast majority of your posts dating back to 2012 relate to Ricoh machines, and this is an end user setting.
RTFM! Or at least visit the knowledge base!

Not to hard to setup user codes for copying...if you need it for printing as well let me know because thats another step where you actually have to give the computer that is sending the job a user code.
Anyways...to set user tools. User Tools/Counter--System Settings--Administrator Tools--User Authentication Management--User Code Auth.
And from there you can choose what you would like to restrict.
Once you have done that go to the web image monitor and you need to set up users in the address book. In there is where you give them a code. If you need help setting up users via web image monitor let me know.
