    MPC 5502 jam code 020

I had this machine electrical issues with clients building, changed out main board got rid of sc672-00 not i can get it to pass paper jam code 020 paper stops before exiting the fuser but is all the way in the fuser, I dont thing the pressure roller motor is engaging, yet it works in servcie mode manually sc 5804-102 works, but when running it does not enguage, could this make the machine not push the paper through in time to the next sensor? please help, also where can i find the jam codes in the man? sp 7507 has the code reference, but i cant find where 020 is, 7504-20 is exit sensor does not detect paper , but this is 7504 same thing?? if so its the exit sensor bad?, i replaced the whole exit unit before i posted this....

Could be nothing, but is the paper passing past the Hot roller? Those gears on the hot roller crack and break all the time, so it possible it's just bad luck. You should also be able to take that cover off the front of that fusing unit, and have some idea of what's going on.

yes and it actually fused onto the paper...
it seemn to get right to the exit and fthe fuser rolls it up cause the rest of the rollers arent working or activating...

Does it do this from all trays? Including bypass? It almost sounds as if the machine thinks it has the wrong paper size... Does this machine have a bridge unit on it? If so does it show on the jam instructions? What if you remove the bridge? You should also be able to test that exit sensor in input checks. You may have a blown IO or low voltage board. Or it could be as easy as Could be wrong paper size detection also

Is it possible that you left the lead to the exit sensor disconnected from the main board when you replaced the board. J020 is an exit sensor jam.

            To Digicor:
I'm sorry, but I can not figure out what you are trying to say.
My mother language is Dutch, so when you make bad sentences I (and many others) will not understand this.
So would you please be so kind next time to pay more attention on good, readable sentences and clear English language?
            thank you in advance!
