Mpc 300 shows jam in R, but there is no paper to be found, had the same jam last week same machine, blew out sensors, reset just fine, now it wont reset, and wont clear? is this a usual prob for these little guys? and what could resolve it?

Paper not being fed. If paper has been fed and has exit to the exit tray, paper length is not correct. If paper tray is empty but the machine does not indicate out of paper, check the paper switch.

It's always been my experience that R jams on Ricoh products indicate a finisher jam or sometimes a problem with the stapler.
The MP C300/400 is available with an internal finisher.
Does the machine you're working on have a finisher?
How easy or hard would it be to remove the finisher for troubleshooting purposes if your machine is so equipped?

If it has a finisher, is the customer pulling the paper out of the finisher before it has completely exit to the exit tray? Some internal finishers would feed the paper almost all the way out then pull it back to the staple position. After the machine determined that there was no more pages in the set, it would then feed the set out. If you pulled it out before it was through, it would generate a jam.
