mp2500 default to pdf

I had the pleasure of installing one these again, but i cant seem to remember how to set the email to default to pdf? i think its in the bit switches? anyone remember?

Don't the old copiers like that set that through user tools > scanner features > send settings > file type priority?

there isnt any scanner features in the user tools

go to scanner, send settings (i think its called), set it to pdf. then press program, program as defaults

Looking through the manual and it looks like it should have a scanner features option...

C - N - P from the manual

Press the {User Tools/Counter} key.
B Select the menu using {U} or {T}, and then press the {OK} key.
To change the System Settings, select [System Settings].
To change the Copier Features, select [Copier Features].
To change the Fax Features, select [Fax Features].
To change the Printer Features, select [Printer Features].
To change the Scanner Features, select [Scanner Features].
To change the language used on the display, select [Language].
To check the counter, select [Counter].

The MP2500 is an older model similar to the AF2020.
No touchscreen, no program button.
You have to scroll through the menus with the arrow keys after pressing user tools to locate the scanner & fax features. There are four pages.
Switch 21 Bit 3 will convert a fax forward to folder into a PDF.

Thank for all the info, there is no "program " button on this model, though im sorry , but there is scanner feature's i just had to scroll in the user tools mode,sorry not used to doing this, so i should be able to set the default to pdf in there i suspect, thanks again for all the response
