    Ricoh sp3510sf (error initializing)

Hello friends wanted to know if someone had this problem.

When the equipment is turned on, the screen (INITIALIZING) crashes.

    The team has no HDD.

    Nor can enter SP mode.

Not sure I understand. You're not trying to book the printer up with all the connectors unplugged are you?

Normally an result of incorrect engine firmware flash.
Either way you are probably looking at PCB replacement.

I have had this multiple times.

I have replaced engine boards and it still come back weeks later

To save yourself a lot of money just reflash the firmware via USB cable, it will get you up and running

Unless it is a cratered board or a cratered firmware load, which in effect craters the board. If it will not let you load firmware, the board is cratered.

For what it is worth, the last picture showed a number of disconnected connectors.

Could that have something to do with this? Sorry I haven't worked on anything that new. But on the older machines, I have left connectors disconnected like a dummy and ran into something similar to this.

Well, I presume this photo has been taken before he plugged ALL the connectors back to there PROPER place...
              Or would he not?
              It's worth asking...
Anyway, I haven't seen this trouble, because we don't have this type of machine in our field..., sorry.
