No I am not entertained.

I'll explain why others are cranky. At least once or twice a month some random person pops up asking for firmware or help or something else. Usually they don't show any signs of being a tech, just an end user.

The idea behind the forum is that it is here for techs to help out other techs solving problems. You try to ask and answer questions, not just one way.

Often those asking for firmware are trying to avoid a service call that will cost them money they can't or won't spend.

Fixing machines is how we pay the bills and feed our families, looking for freebies isn't looked upon kindly.
