Re: savin c3030 paper jamming in finsher
If the jam code is J100 and the machine has been recently moved, like just before it started jamming, check the bracket that the entry guide mounts to. Customers will use the entry guide as a grip point and deform the mount, guide or both. This will cause either the upper or lower entry roller, depending on which is not the one driven by the drive belt, to nit be in contact with the driven roller. I have also seen the gap between the guides at the roller to be moved to where the paper hit one roller or the other and not where they come in contact.
If it is not J100, check the transport sensor in the bridge unit.Comment

If time permits you might want to clean and relube the bushings for the rollers in the finisher. At least if there appears to be some sort of black looking goo on them anyway.
And on a lighter note, you may want to pay attention to the area where the finisher gets plugged into the MPC3030. Occasionally if people like the users of that machine get in a hurry when moving the machine, they may accidentally smash that connector.Comment
