[Dead] savin 9002 nothing happens when the switch is turned on

cust said no power when came in monday but worked on friday, no storms in area and they said the other computers and electronics were all ok. so i have 220 at wall, 220 going into the main pwr supply, i have ac going into the controller pwr supply as well. but no dc volts coming out of either pwb. switched the main pwr supply unit and the main off/on switch both, no change to anything. no lights,screen,motors,fans,movement, nothing! remove all sorters, extra trays, adf, ect so it is a stand alone mach. any ideas to try next?

Thats a bit of strange problem but I've had similar issues with the MP6500 model (which is similar to your machine only older and slower)

I would recommend trying the following

1) Replace your power supply. I've had instances when a fault in the duplex unit and fuser unit caused the power supply to blow out. Disconnect those 2 units (just slide them out) and try as well.

2) Try disconnecting the controller to see if that makes a difference. It might only mean that the machine will only come but at least you will know that the fault might be with the controller.

Let me know how this works for you. Sorry wish I could be of more help. And 1 more thing, these fault normally take alot of time to sort out so leave a few hours open when you go to the customer. Make sure the ADF and sorter remains disconnected when you try these out.
