Hello everyone. Having a time with this one. The paper seems to be jamming mainly before the finisher but sometimes in the paper exit assembly and is intermittent. Doesn't matter if it is single side or duplex prints/copies.
Internal finisher? Side mounted? The side finsher will have a bridge unit which can have faulty push switches or dirty sensors. The internal one could be several other things. The jam code would help.

It is a side mounted finisher. I changed the output for prints and copies to internal tray 1 to eliminate the finisher and that is when i noticed that the problem seemed to actually start before it got there. It must be my old age but I totally forgot to write down the jam or service code before posting. Truly sorry about that
Thanks, I will check that first when I get back out there tomorrow. Next time I'll make sure I have all of my info before submitting.
I found a loose sensor in the bin assembly. It appears a previous tech tried to repair this problem before by using electrical tape instead of replacing the bin
