    mpc5502 naming scan issue

I have a client who wants to 1) name the scan and NOT have the scan pdf tag and date tag in the name, just the name , can i turn this off some how , or just have it scan with just the name given?
    and
    2) the client has multiple scans with the same name yet has to keep re entering the name of the scan every time they scan to the folder and it may be one right after the other scans, but they have to keep inputting the whole name of the scan, cant just reuse it with altered numbers at the end of it... i know weird questions, I told them i doesnt make coffee.... what else do they want? LOL

1 - Just enter the name, it shouldn't append the date/time, at least on the C5503 in our shop it doesn't.
2 - Change from Multi-page PDF to Single-page then, if your documents are all single page, you'll get a separate file for each page. If they're multiple-page documents you can use the batch function to accomplish the same thing.
Nothing works quite so well that I can't totally disable it by trying to make it a little better.

It's a switch setting in the scanner SP mode, don't know which bit off the top and don't have time to look it up right now.................

try scanner sp 1012-1 set to 0 for the scan name to stay for editing.

If Scanner SP 1012 is not accessible from normal SP mode, you might need to use Factory SP mode.
