hi all

i have strange problem in this machine

when i put paper in tray one or tray 2 and the machine load paper i hear sound up and down its look like motor not engage properly then its reading paper and give me ready
after job is coming the tray read empty paper and full paper and give me cover open in lcd

i replaced paper feed motor and all vertical transport unit and iob transport and its still the same problem

It's possible you will need to take the paper feed unit out at tray 2. There's a sensor flag that can get knocked out of position. What door is showing open?

I would hope before replacing all that stuff you checked the flag for the paper end sensor on the feed unit, if a tray is reading empty the flag is probably out of position. If your getting a cover open msg it could be either switch for whichever door is showing open. Faulty door switches can cause irregular problems else ware.

by the way i replaced

tray 1 +paper feed motor + paper feed unit (unite ) +iob transport and its same problem

I would check for a blown fuse on the power supply for 24v that drives the paper lift.
The same fuse probably powers the door switch.
I don't know the fuse #, but it should be in the blown fuse indications in the service manual.

That ring's a bell from the old FT4527 series.
Does the machine have a paper bank or any other accessories attached to it?

there are 2 boards that control the paper feed/ lift I think on this machine they are at the bottom of the copier at the rear we change one once ony to find out there are 2 iob type boards

hai guys...i had this problem before.there are the switch back of tray.try to top up some double tape at the back of tray which are attach to the switch in the machine.this issue had bulletin.
