    drum locator pin MPc5501

Can someone please tell me the easiest way to trim the tab/locator pin on the MPc4501/5501 so I can use the B224 K drum in the color slot. I have been doing it many different ways and all are a pain.
Someone must have an easy way, if so please enlighten me.
    Thanks

I just use 'tin snips' or 'aviation shears' and just reach in and cut them off. Takes literally a few seconds each.

I believe that he is talking about the on the metal tray that the PCDU slides into the machine on, not the connector on the back of the PCU.

If you dont carry tin snips like me use pliers you can rock the metal frame that leads up to the pin left to right. It will just snap away as the metal is so thin. Just be careful maybe wrap a rag round your hand as the pcu rail can sometimes give you a scratch

A dremel with a cutting disk works good, too. I noticed on the c5502's it looks like they increased the diameter of the pin. Using pliers to break it off did not work for me.

LOL shure I was asking how this would work on the connector^^

I simply used some sort of gripper for the metal pins bending them left/right a few times until they break off. Less elegant but it did the trick.
