can anyone verify ricoh mpc5000 black drum d0292250 will properly work with ricoh mpc4502 just by shaving off connector. I only see forum with changing it to color but
how about from black drum to black drum? Thanks in advance.

Yes it does, you'll also need to swap the two the wires round.

I use D0292256 for all models black & colour from MPC4500 - MPC3002 etc

I still use the B2242042 drums for all series, Costs less and I get about 150-180k on it.
