MP2001 light image . .

Hi,

Have only one MP2001 in the field.
Customer called for a dark image and some lines. (95K)
So, I did maintenance, changed the PCU,developer, charge rol and cleaning blade. (all from the MP2000 model)
Did SP2801, now the image not good, to light and not equal on full page, the top is lighter then the bottom...

Anyone? Is it the right PCU, developer ?

It Takes a different DV #D1589640 and CL Blade #AD042083 according to Product Support Guide. Blade is probably the same as the MP 2000 Series but DV is Unique. Hope that Helps.

Seems to me, that these would have been good questions to know answer to beforehand....and also easy to find

Given the machine was previously giving dirty over toned copies,
the current problem sound's like an issue with dirty optics.

o Check the charge roller is in the correct home postion.
o Developer gears turning the toner distibution auger ?

Did you services the LASER unit ?
Asking although this is a primary issue !
