is there anything better in a mpc3502 vs earlier series?

    gd morning.
i have a pending sale with the midrange lease returns ricoh 30 to 45 cpm color machines.
i sold a bunch of mpc2800,3300,3001 and 3501s but low meter return units are dried up.
so i am looking the 02 series but dont know if its equal or better or worse.
for running 85% black only how does it hold up.
    thnx in advance

Remove metal-pins for colour-drums, so you can use the black B224...drum.
Can you explain more about this? I never heard of any mods for color drums on the 02 series.

Have a read, this doc may explain better.

Basically you can use the cheaper D0292256 for all for drums (with a simple modification to machine & the PCU)

Use the B2242042 drum, much cheaper and perform well.

Very nice. The last version of this cheat sheet that I saw (about 4 years ago) didn't have those additional pictures showing the mods for the 02 drums. Thanks!
