problem with fax aficio 350

I have copier aficio 350 when i working it as fax it send faxes but not receive any faxes .I want to know how can i solve this problem??

are you shure you are a technician?

Try to encircle the problem:

- is the line chord inserted into the correct plug?
- what happen if you call that fax with a phone - does it pick up your call?
- have you checked the current rx mode?

- Yes line cord inserted correct
- when call it with phone i hear the ring and don't open as fax Although the communication indicator lit after no. of ring and hearing beep of receive on fax ONLY
- YES and adjust it at auto reception mode

I'd be looking at the fax cable, is it one that you've pinched off another machine? If so, it won't work.

Dunno if I got this right: Did the machine "telling" you the handshake sounds in the phone?

In this case it should be possible to establish a fax transfer. Maybe there's a stupid setting like authorized RX enabled. Have you tried to do a complete parameter/factory reset of the fax option?
