    MPc5503 6003 drum swap

    Did a search but came up empty. I have always used the B2242042 drum in the color machines, in every position (cmyk). I am venturing into the 03 series and they are different AND expensive. Can someone tell me if it is possible to use the black for color as well in this machine?

      No you can not swap the colour & black drums they are totally different.

      Currently the only option is to use the correct drums, yes they are expensive but they do last & go over PM life without any issues. (400k black 270k Colours)

          Use the parts from new K drum unit to rebuild colour one.
