    Slow printing of pdf files

I have problem printing bulk pdf files in duplex on ricoh aficio 2090.
Speed becomes 25 pages per minute.
I note that when i sent a job of 500 files there is a ghost job of each file show in print queue means when i sent a job of 500 files in prin queue it shows 1000 jobs and printer print only 500 files.
    Kindly guide me

The ghost job is likely your computer converting the files to a different format. It might not hurt to find out why that is.

When was the last time you updated the firmware & the drivers on this old machine?

Does this machine have a Fiery attached, or are you using the internal controller?

The fact that you're are "bulk printing" 500 files at a time hints that there may be Fiery involved.

As CopierTech said, just how current are the firmware and drivers? If there is a Fiery, how about any Fiery patches?

Are you printing through Windows 10 OS? If so, check in the driver properties and confirm that the driver being used IS NOT "Ricoh Class Driver". If it is, correct it.

You still haven't mentioned if you've done firmware.

PostScript? PCL 6? What application and version? One workstation or all?

What do you mean by "bulk" printing?

Sorry, but it's impossible to help you if you can't provide some basic info.

We also use the Ricoh PCL6 drivers when installing. TCP\IP for the port. If you didn't recheck the driver don't be surprised if you find the Ricoh Class driver is being used with a WSD port. I have been running into this problem for a long time now. It seems that some windows updates are deleting the old PCL6 drivers and reinstalling the Ricoh Class drivers on there own.

You need to disable any WSD ports which is located under IPV4 section of the webpage to prevent the WSD ports and Ricoh Class driver from being loaded.
