Hi i got a older copier, i have never really been around a lot of Lanier copiers, anyway the power code looks like the ones that come with dryer the 3 prongs look like they are 220v, what kind of adapter of outlet do i need in order to operate this?, any suggestions are welcome.

I'm not familiar with that model, but the operators manual states the line should be a 20 amp circuit. If you could take a picture of it we could confirm the type for you.

It is a 110v 20 amp dedicated plug.
Go to a hardware store and get the female end of the 20 amp and male end of 15 amp plug.
Solder a thick gauge wire to each end and you have what we used to call a pig tail.
As long as machine doesn't pop breakers it will be OK.
Why do they call it common sense?

If it were common, wouldn't everyone have it?

For this non-Ricoh Lanier machine, the power specs are: 115v 20 amp, 50/60 Hz.
