Guys, can you give me some inputs or better I say, can you give me some instruction material on how to configure wireless/bluetooth printing in MPC 2504SP. The machine is already connected in LAN and it is working. The user asks me how to print with his smartphone using wireless or bluetooth. I go to SCREEN FEATURES and I enable the WIFI/BLUETOOH function. nThe machine is then connected to WIFI/BLUETOOTH. I tried to search the printer with the smartphone but unable to find it. If I have my own smartphone with the HOTSPOT enabled, can I print in the machine even it is connected to the client's network? The machine is in USER CODE AUTHENTICATION.

Re: Wireless and bluetooth printing (mp c2504sp)
If the mobile device already has access wifi access to the network that the C2504 is connected to, then you have to download and install Ricoh Print&Scan app from either the app store or google play.Comment

Re: Wireless and bluetooth printing (mp c2504sp)
Hi in screen device setting you need to change the interface setting from machine network to WiFi if you want WiFi hot spot printing. Then configure WiFi direct setting join the hotspot and bingo you will be able to print using mobile print scan app or smart device connector app.

Re: Wireless and bluetooth printing (mp c2504sp)
I got disgusted using Ricoh's print app, as it only works sometimes. On the occasion that I have to print from my phone, I've been using Hammermill's print app (get it from Google Play Store). It has yet to fail me.NEVER ASSUME ANYTHINGComment

Re: Wireless and bluetooth printing (mp c2504sp)
Has anyone managed to get to the bottom of the WiFi Direct printing or Bluetooth printing?
Also can you have WiFi direct and LAN printing or is it one or the other?
Will LAN printing work with Bluetooth?Comment

Re: Wireless and bluetooth printing (mp c2504sp)
Bluetooth printing with the SOP is extremely short range even for Bluetooth. You almost have to have your mobile device setting on the SOP plus you have to have registered your device with the SOP. WiFi direct is also short range, near vicinity of the SOP. It is a very low power WiFi transmitter in the SOP itself. LAN is just that, your local area network. To use it with a mobile device, you need to be connected to the LAN WiFi, if it has one.Comment
