slow printing and copying in Ricoh 2090

    slow printing and copying in Ricoh 2090

    I have a problum in ricoh 2090 copy and printing speed is very salow without the finisher but machine is 90 cpm but now machine output is only 35 prints per minats,,,,, when we attach the finisher machine then machine is working properly,

    check to see if the machine is running in thick paper mode. User Tools/System Settings I think.

        Check the Firmware

        Do you check the machine firmware ? if you don't check. Please check the firmware.

            You can't change finisher firmware (except by EPROM) on this model.
            What model finisher is it?
            Are there any other attachments on the machine?

              The only thing I know of that will slow a machine like that is setting Optimum for Thick to on in user tools, and selecting some sort of thick paper. Not sure why the finisher would have any sort of influence on that... Might be something to do with paper size being longer than A4/LT LEF which would drop it from 5 page interleave in duplex mode - what exactly are they trying to run?

                I know same the Shadow1, Thicker paper mode is change the copier's ppm. So Dear Joher,

                Please check the firmware, ( Do you try on all firmware update ? )
