[Dead] MPC2030 not coming out of standby

The machine is in sleep mode or energy saver mode and pressing the standby button on the panel doesn't wake it back up.

Green light next to control panel button.

try disconnecting the hdd?

If you are referring to the small light that is above the power button on the control panel, either the main power switch is off or the power cord is disconnected.
Look on the left side of your machine, there should be a red switch there. Turn that on.
If that switch is already on, reseat the power cord in the back of the machine as it may be loose.
If that isn't what you were referring to, I am mistaken, and I apologize.
