I have an Mp 5002sp making faint copies when copying originals with blue ink and stamps. The drum and developer are original and settings are at default. The printouts when printing are solid black. Can anyone give me advice on this issue.

Hi there!
This absolut normal. Have myself 2 or 3 customers with this issue. Play with the original-type-buttons, darker-button (auto off) & when satisfied with the quality make it a programm on the screen.

What about if you set the original type to pale or generation? Any change there?It's 106 miles to Chicago. We've got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark and we're wearing sunglasses.

It's better. But the client had an Mp 201 and didn't have a problem copying. Thats where my challenge isComment
