I have 2 c3002 machines. 95k and 66k I have 2 problems. 1st. The density is horrible! Its very blotchy with many light areas. It is especially evident with glossy paper. We are using, high quality paper and oem toner. I am about to try to replace the developer even though i know it should be ok for over 200k. 2nd problem, pictures come out very "pixeled" looking. the customer is convinced that its a dot pattern issue. Konica Minoltas dot pattern is different for sure. He compares the two. I have changed the print setting from 600 dpi to 1200dpi with no change. Please, im desperate, any help is great!

Re: C3002 with density and dpi issues
I've had a couple issues with glossy paper and it was related to paper tray not being set to correct paper weight for the paper so the fuser was not fusing the toner correctly so I would try that. I would also try cleaning the laser slit glass of all the effected colors and then checking the transfer cleaning unit for toner backup if it's happening on color. I know with this model there's an issue with the fuser drive motor causing rainbow like bands on the paper when passing through the fuser and will also cause jams. That's really all I can think of without seeing the paperComment

It sounds like "Picking"...where the fusing temp is too low for the paper type and it leaves little white dots in colour areas.
Even though the paper settings are set correctly for the paper being used you may have to bump it up to Thick 3.Comment
