Nice to see a reply from RSA, as an expratiot, but the problem is that when we up-dated the frimware, we now have a stack of problems with SC990 and Sc670 codes

Also make sure you update ALL the firmware and not just the Engine and System. I've had some of the most recent generations exhibit strange symptoms (codes, jamming, unable to enter tech mode) when not updating all the firmware.
the savin2535 is displaying well bet the hiter lamp is not shining and the lamp had been tested o.k.please kindly help.
Samir: No, not again. I... why does it say paper jam when there is no paper jam? I swear to God, one of these days, I just kick this piece of shit out the window.
Michael Bolton: You and me both, man. That thing is lucky I'm not armed.

Ricoh usually keeps a current and previous version on the tsc web site - but as was mentioned, make sure you update EVERYTHING starting with system and engine. For those particular SC codes you might want to try formatting and / or replacing the HDD's

              Hi Dear Shadow.

I don't understand. And I'm worry. We must the update first one System with engine firmware or first one only engine firmware after update the other firmware ?

If you upgrade the system firmware first, the machines thinks it is a C1.5 and sees a C1 engine firmware and locks itself out.
This means that ALL the other firmware needs to be updated to these levels:
If all these are not done then you can get some very wierd problems - Please Wait, Unable to access SP mode, parts of the screen missing and SC codes.
