    Ricoh MP 2000L SMB scanning

    Hi friends, One of my customer using windows 7 with Ricoh MP 2000L copier for SMB scanning. Recently they updated their computer security to defend from Ransomeware. Now they cannot do scan to folder. Also asked me to upgrade copier SMB version 2 or above. I have done firmware update had with me. but problem not solved. I don't know the way to check which version the copier currently using. Can anybody help me to solve this? Thanks.

      Print SP5990-005, diagnostic sheet. All firmware is listed there.
      It's 106 miles to Chicago. We've got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark and we're wearing sunglasses.

          All Ricoh devices only support samba v1...
          (I think this already answer to your problem...)

          So, if they desabled the samba v1 they can not use Scan-to-folder

              NIB firmware needs to be B8675526K, v6.19.

                  Thanks for the advice. I already updated firmware B8675526K, v6.19 but copier still respond only to SMB 1. Is there any update issued after that.

                              After firmware update, I tried scanning with SMB 1 enabled. Scanner works normally. When SMB 1 disabled, it stopped working.I mean the device still use SMB 1 for communicating. Done these things with Windows 10. Thanks.

                                  configure it as scan to e-mail (smtp).
                                  does it work fine?
