    office 365 scanning malfunction: document sent for 100% but not receveid in mailbox

    Hello,
    mpc2003.
    smtp server connection test = ok.
    Scanning is going from 99% to 100% and is logged in the journal as being send as "completed"
    But... client won't receive the scan in the mailbox.

    SMTP Server Name: smtp.office365.com
    SMTP Port No.: 587
    SMTP Authentication: On
    SMTP Auth. Email Address: email@mydomain.com
    SMTP Auth. User Name: email@mydomain.com
    SMTP Auth. Password: ******* (It's the correct password)
    SMTP Auth Encryption: Auto-Select

    Anyone can help? Thanks in advance.

    Have you tried setting encryption on to TLS or STARTTLS rather than auto?

      Try using the customer's MX record as the SMTP server. Port 25 with no authentication. Administrator's email address can be anything with ending with the same domain, i.e. MPC5503@yourcompany.com

              what about setting up with a gmail account or smtp2go, something like that if it sends ok with that it has to be down to office365 setup.

                  It appears your outgoing ( smtp ) server is functioning (goes to 100%), however their incomming email is not being received. That has to do with their (incomming)email domain server.
                  I also verify the username and password by logging onto their account from a web interface.
                  I always test an email to my phone gmail for testing purposes.
                  And lastly, as previously posted, try a SMTP2GO, free account 5 min set up

                        Not sure about your brand, but with Sharp, the email address needs brackets (< >) at the beginning and end.

                          It's not clear from your description if the recipient is inside our outside your client's organization. If they're inside, the Office 365 Exchange admin center has a mail trace option that's useful for troubleshooting delivery problems. Exchange > mail flow > message trace.

                          And don't forget about the Clutter folder.

                            I ran into a similar issue using a Gmail account on a Ricoh MP C3503. In the File Transfer settings, I turned OFF the "Divide into separate emails over XXMeg" switch, and it resolved my issue. Apparently Gmail doesn't like to divide emails?

                              Have anyone in fact successfully activated O365 at all, on a Ricoh device?
                              I know it's an other answer, but I guess it's relevant for the solution of this tread because
                              it could very much be that Ricoh's fail to activate O365!
