Depends on if the new 3004 preinstalled properly in workshop, temperature and humdity of the machines place, usage of genuine toner etc. etc. and last but not least, check the paper and try for testing a good quality color laser printer paper.
But i think the new machine need little bit more transfer voltage on the transferroller,i'm sure a part of the colors stay back on the itb image belt and are not transferred to the paper.

What is "ceramic toner" are you saying you're not using genuine Ricoh toner?

        hello.
yes this is NOT genuine toner. and I can't use genuine toner to make my job. this is a specific toner for ceramic decals. the point is. I worked with mpc 2003 for some years. with the same toners, same room, same humidity (I control the ambient humidity at about 45%), same paper etc...
the only diference is the machine. I have bought the new Mpc 3004, and I get less color density than the old 2003. so I have to change something on the sp menu to give me more color density. I just want to know what is the option that permit me to do that.

        Thanks

I remember seeing at least one other thread about using ceramic toner. Find it. It might help you make the adjustment needed.

I already descibed before on other post above how I have done.
put more toner inside the developer until I have the desired density prints. after that make a initialization of that developer so it maintain the density.
