    Ricoh Afico 2228C not reading new toner

    Im not familier with the Ricoh line. Customer put in new toner cartridge they bought on tonerprice and wouldnt buy from our vendor, now they said they put in a new toner and it keeps saying to put in a new toner cartridge. Any suggestions??

    Your customer is stupid, tell them to buy a proper genuine/OEM toner.

          the savin2535 is displaying well bet the hiter lamp is not shining and the lamp had been tested o.k.please kindly help.

            Of course - Isn't it terrific how this cheap stuff can save money

            Well:

            You must install genuine stuff and try a few toner refresh cycles in SP mode - sometimes this can help, sometimes not and then the posts above aren't really that funny.

              thanks for all the suggestions, but it was simple. Just needed to clean off the contacts that read the chip on the toner.

                Just be forewarned as to what you could be in for if the customer uses non OEM toner. When it goes bad, it goes really bad. http://www.copytechnet.com/forums/ri...hlight=magenta
