    [Jamming] MPC3500 and DF3010 Jamming -53

    Hi, folks!

We have on the field a mpc3500 with df problems.20170629005311884.pdf On smc list -53 was logged 29 times.

The reverse roller, feed belt and roller pickup have been replaced on last visit round about 3 month.
All the sensors with the black hole are well cleaned. Under the white df mat (preasure plate) i disassembled the guide and I cleaned all the rollers and the sensor.
The strange thing is that, when i do testscans over sp adf free run or scanning to the document server etc. the df stops sporadically in the middle of scanning. The rest of the documents remains on df, two pages leaves were left behind in the paper path and the machine does not display any error, huh !?!?!

    Does anyone can help?

The curious thing is that the df stops scanning in the middle and does not cause any error. 2 pages stay in the paper path :/
The copier button changes to green... hmmm crazy. That would be under normal condition a df paper jam.

You may want to check out this Service Bulletin. What happens is the gear on the end of the shaft that drives the Reverse Roller slips on the shaft (it is only press fitted on). You will get intermittent Jam Code 53's.

Thanks for the info. That is the parts I wrote above. But very good to see the Bulletin and the infos for the problem. I ordered all the parts. Let's hope for the best.
