Mpc4502 color drum same as mpc4500?

I have some charts from folks that say we can use the 4500 drum in a 4502. Any help in how? We can swap out the drum only and not the entire unit it seems. Might as well just buy a single drum. Any thoughts?

You can use a B224-2042 as a color PCU in the C4502 if you shave the connector on the rear of the drum, and remove the steel bracket and pin from the back of the machine (sturdy tin snips)

You do not need to swap the wires.

You can, just ignore the oversized lube bar on the 02 drum. A 2256 or 2042 drum will work in both black and colour.
