    ghosting/double image

    hi guys
    this is my first entry and hope you guys can help

    i'm from Nashua in SA and moved to NZ and work for Ricoh now

    help needed with firmware for AF1013mfp ghosting

    changed pcu and fuser parts still ghosting

      Check the drum ground for good continuity. You should have very close to zero Ohms if you check t with a meter to the frame. You might need a drum shaft or bearing replaced.
      the savin2535 is displaying well bet the hiter lamp is not shining and the lamp had been tested o.k.please kindly help.

          How about the erase lamp? Have you check it? Cleaned it?

                  If that fails try another pressure roller and check the plastic bushings are not dug out.
                  I'm sure I had image repeating issue on this model a few years back and this is what it turned out to be in the end.

                  I remember because it was a bit of a strange one.

                      cheers for that we have replaced both hot and pressure roller and bushings are ok
                      i know we had firmware that solved this fault in SA but cannot find it here

                          The FCU firmware has a release note that says it cures ghosting.

                          Sometimes, the operator can clear a fusing SC error with power Off/On
                          (see RTB RB044014 for details). - version 91
                          �� Offset images - version 90
                          �� Offset images on the right side only. - version 88

                          This is firmware for EU/NA and Asia - not sure about your Pan Asia area.
