    PS3 recovery from a "per total" c2051

    Hello,
"this software is already in use for another machine"
Is there a way to overrule this issue?
    Greetings,
    Mark

If postscript came out of a different copier it will say this. when they install it new they match serial # and Now it doesn't match. i just tell customer that the postscript is fine and it was pull out of another copier. they are happy with it and i tell them if they what to get rid of message will need to buy a new one.

Not that I have ever seen, it won't.

have done plenty of copiers this way. When customer wants Ps3 and this message comes up. our copier company does refurb copiers only so we do this all the time. We are in the Untied states if your are overseas might be different.

Upgrade to a new 'ex' machine, postscript is included by default, at last Ricoh!

Emulated PostScript is included by default, true PostScript is still an option.

Emulated is, essentially, just as good (unless the customer wants a better colour quality).

If nothing else, the emulated PS will prevent those *wonderful* little situations where the sales person neglected to ask if there were any Macs that needed to print.

I could be wrong , but I don't believe embedded Postscript emulation was available before the CXX03 models.

I've not yet seen Ricoh emulated PostScript in action.

Hopefully, it's better than others I have seen in the past, although it has been a number of years.

I hope that salespeople don't take it as "Oh, look! Free PostScript!".

I'm sure that higher end apps won't like it; they're designed to use the real McCoy.

It is not, other than the PDF direct portion.

                            About what I figured.

                              So gentlemen,
Resuming: there is a free PS from Ricoh, but for graphics that's not an improvement...
The only way around it is to buy a new one.
Thank you all kindly for your answers and help, have a good weekend.
