Paper jam when it pulls paper from first drawer. I cleaned and checked everything but the same. I swaped the 2 paper cassetes ( I put cassete from second drawer to first and versa) and it is ok now. Any idea where the problem is?

when the problem tray is in the machine does it register the proper size of paper? if not sounds like the sensor arms on the back may be wacked

What is the jam number Jxxx? The xxx will tell us a where the jam actually happens and from that possibly why.

Pull the metal paper tray from the cassette and look at the lift plate attached to the lift shaft and see if it's not loose.

Pull the paper feed unit out, there is a mylar that is hard to see when its in the device but it can tear or come unstuck.

Obviously not a paper feed unit. He said he swapped the paper trays and its OK now.
