Ricoh MP C5503 - Scanner features are greyed out

Having an issue with the C5503. Tested the machine at the office before delivery using scan to folder. It worked fine. Delivered machine to customer and now most of the scanner screen is greyed out (cannot select email or folder tabs). The Store File button is highlighed yellow. Clicking that it shows Store to HDD highlighted. The problem is that Store to HDD + Send is greyed out and I cannot highlight to scan to email.

Any suggestions?

Sounds like an issue with the HDD, maybe it has worked loose during transit, try removing & refitting.
Also try a format in SP mode.

I did format the HDD a(All) and it completed. Issue remains.

Haven't tried reseatting the HDD cables. Will try that.

Maybe check and make sure the sd card/cards have not popped out during transport.

When I bring up quick scan I eventually get "Connection with the machine has failed. Check the machine structure.". No amount of googling or TRSC brings up that message.

I know this is old, but the NIC was turned off. Thank you for the suggestions.

Interesting, it worked before you loaded in the van!?
