I don't know the product code, the machine model is Ricoh Aficio MP2590, 25ppm. I think is 25xx series or so.
I think some SP mode should be done after replacing the drum unit but don't know away to enter SP mode.
      I also try clear mode > 1 0 7 > clear/stop but no help. What should i do then?

Look at the model plate behind the bypass door, there will be a product code. MP2590 is not a valid number and CM107CS should work on all Digital Ricohs

sp5912-001 to 0. This will turn the message off. The MP2510 shows that PCU msg. Clear Modes, 1,0,7, hold Clear Stop to get into SP mode

oh my good! the MP2590 doesn't like those ricoh digital copiers in the way of entering SP mode. I've already tried Clear mode > 1,0,7 > hold Clear/stop but no help, the machine answers "beep beep" but nothing happen so I couldn't enter SP mode.
anybody know how to enter the MP2590 SP mode?

The Russian-C4 and C4.5 are a bugger for not recognising they've had a new PCU installed.

If you put a new one in and it still asks for one, run SP2-801 (I think, might be 2-804) developer initialisation. Replace PCU message will disappear. It's not a good idea to turn the PCU alarm off as most customers won't know how often the PCU needs to be replaced and will just put in a service call for copy quality issues.
It's 106 miles to Chicago. We've got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark and we're wearing sunglasses.

                Hit it.

true, but the PCU will go alot longer than 60k, which is the default alarm setting. you can raise the setting, but i find it easier to just go when the customer calls for copy quality. its cheaper on parts and if the customer isnt that picky about CQ, then the PCU will last even longer. FYI- that PCU is rebuildable and doesnt need to replaced as a whole unit

Some are and some are a real pain to rebuild - either way, it's usually not worth the time
