    MP C5502 vs. C5503

When we got the C5502, we were told the paper handling system on the 02's was far more robust than the xxo3's. I'm wondering if this has really proven true as they've both been in service for a while now.

    Cheers!

The c5502 is older than the c5503...? Anyway, I'd say both copiers handle 'paper' well. The fusers are both sleeve-based and are touchy to thick paper, but the c5503 works a bit better. The feed systems are nearly the same, and both work fine.

I know 02 is older, but when we bought the seller suggested sticking with it over the 03 as there were paper handling issues (in his opinion). I'm just curious if this is in fact the case, or was it just early on some people thought that.

Initially there were a bunch of minor problems with the 03. Frequent firmware updates, sometimes 2 or more a week. Was fun keeping up with them. Very stable now until Microsoft changes something, again, and screws everyone.
