    MP2000 Duplex not feeding

One side prints just fine, but when the paper reaches the top portion and reverses back to have the other side printed, the paper just stops in its tracks. It's seems like the duplex motor is not spinning.

Thanks for your inputs on this matter.

Well Does it turn? Have you checked operation of the motor, solenoids etc., in SP Mode?
What jam codes does it log?
    What have you actually done?

Could be a busted loom. Like the previous poster said: do output check on duplex motor and input check on duplex sensors especially entrance sensor.

A jam number would be of help. It would tell exactly where the jam is being detected and whether it is a lead edge or trail edge jam.

I cannot help but think that it is related to the duplex entrance sensor....

            Thanks for the inputs.

Here's what i did so far.

I removed the entire rear cover and used an identical one from a 2018d.

            The problem still persists.

How can i check for the status of the sensors/motors? Thanks.

Enter service mode. Select option 5 (mode) and select 803 (input check). Look for description relating to duplex entrance. Once selected, a 1 means it is triggered and a 0 means no trigger. If it does not change when you trigger it, the sensor is faulty.
