    May have a bad pcb.
Try calling Hytec Dealer Services in Florida.
They have excellent Ricoh support for troubleshooting which pcb may be bad. Speak to Lee.

I'm don't have a manual for this machine so I cannot provide service codes; but if you reset and initialize the beam pitch data you should be able to remedy the code. This is usually required on Ricoh products when you remove and install a laser unit. You probably just got lucky with the machine you tested it on ... I think the adjustment will correct it.

The door switches may have failed. Replace the switches or use a lenght of wire to jump(bypass) them.
I would be wary of checking them with resistance because they could be failing under load.

          Baphoment,

The 9922 uses a single laser no beam pitch adjustment required.

I'll second this. The laser power is run through the door switches, and if one is even the slightest bit flaky...
