    Rotation error.

    There are a couple of sensors on the machine. Normally one of them gets knocked out of position if the fusing unit does not go in perfectly square.

    The photo sensors were modified to have a wider gapping to prevent catching them accidentally.

    The firmware was also changed to improve the detection timing of SC548/549.

    Of coarse SC548/549 can also occur if the fuser needs servicing and the orange foam roller under the belt has flat spotted or the ferrite roller is worn out.


    The sensors in the video are the wider type.

    You can still enter service mode even with the code displayed.
