    Ricoh 400

I'm looking for a solution to background on backside of copies. Usually a shadow at lead edge travels down about 1/4 of page. Darker on one side than the other, this is on the backside of copy which is blank. I've replaced the transfer belt and cleaning blade. Wondering if I'm using inferior blades. Appreciate any help available.

I've been seeing the Xfr blades in all of my 35/45 cpm machines fail way early (I've been using the B213 blade in all of them)

If you're trying to replace a blade on an old AF400, the better thing to do is just replace the whole machine and save yourself the hassle. Parts are getting pretty scarce for those...

Don't have any of the old 400's left, and thankfully don't have many of the new 4000/5000's - just saying I've seen a huge number of transfer blades fail recently (and starting to see more drum and ITB blade failures)

          B213 blades

Are these Mita DC 213 B drum blades? If so where can they be found? If not what are they?

B213-3831 is a Ricoh blade. Used on AF350 and up.
