Ricoh mp 6002, wim are very very very slow despite to 2 new hdd formatted

hello everyone, I work in sirio srl official dealer ricoh in milan - italy, this is the first time I write on this great forum, my problem is on a 6002 mp already replaced the hdd 2 times, when customers try to connect to web image monitor really really goes very slow (almost unusable) if I form the hhd seems to work well, but after a short time starts to slow down again, I state that I did the same thing a mp4002 by the same customer (City Hall of Cinisello balsam) but in another location and for now has remained so ... thanks in advance to all those who try to help me .. I turn off and turn on the problem remains, only formatting works well for a while

ciao codex grazie per aver risposto, ma ti ho scritto 2 volte ma non riesco a vedere i messaggi che ti ho inviato, chiedero all'admin, cmq dopo la formattazione funzionano bene per qualche giorno poi di nuovo va lentissimo, i dischi erano nuovi

Why do you think it's specifically HDD related?
Have you looked into other factors such as network speed etc?

WIM has never been rapidly quick at loading between pages imho.

hi cifra,thanks for answering, I think there is some problem with the hd because after the first replacement worked well for 3 months, and after formatting for a couple days / a couple of weeks, it would seem that the disk is consumed early after multiple accesses to recover the scans from the document server(?), I did not control the speed, but as a printer it works well and fast

Try to setup network speed to 100 MB full dublex (automatic off).

thanks slimslob, to be honest, when the problem occurs too slow the home page of wim, without even entering the document server, I found that it does so with zero scans, because the customer (about 20 pc) scans, enter in the documente server, download the file, and then delete it from the document server

Did you connect your own notebook directly, to test the load speed of machines wim?

I happened that from the same customer but in another building I have the same problem with a mp4002, it would seem something on the net that slims wim, but with the laptop and cable cross seemed reasonable speed ... I do not think that excessive network activity can destroy 2 disks in three months (!)but the disc has not yet broken

I've already seen with my eyes on a service call on a mp c3003, how clients network traffic completly frozen a new delivered machine. Almost nothing is impossible. I would also contact customers system/network administrator to ask for more informations, what is all going on in their network. A bunch of snmp commands combined with broadcast/multicast commands on mp's port there can happen a lot. Just for the troubleshooting thing, and if you have experience with data analyzing, do a (with customers agreement) a traffic recording (sniffing) with the app whireshark. While the recording is running, let from customers pc a ping -t "IP ADRESS OF MP" and open with customers browser the wim of the mp. Afterwards you will send immediately a print job from same customer pc to the mp. Then stop the recording immediately and have a look, what comes and goes arround the machine.
For the electric thing we have in Germany the VDE 0701 0702 safety test measurement, to check electric connection of the machine. There is something like that in your country too.
