    MOBILE PRINTING (MPC 2504ex)

Guys, how can I configure mobile printing without using client's LAN and WIFI network? The client wants their customers to print from their mobile directly to printer. Any ideas?

I tried to connect via bluetooth or through wifi direct but no success.

    Use wifi direct in SOP.

SOP can provide that function. Does require the proper Ricoh App be installed on the mobile device. Also does require the mobile device to be in very close proximity to the C2504's SOP.

I enable the WIFI direct in SOP and the model of the machine appears in my mobile when I select WIFI DIRECT in WIFI settings. Then it shows connected. From there I was stuck. Do I have to use Ricoh Device connector in order to print? I tried to connect through QR code but it fails. Do you have any instruction materials so that I can follow?

Maybe one of these YouTube videos might help.

SOP direct print sucks, waste of time. No need to mention this for the customer.
Please start you post with brand, model, problem.

In MPC 2504SP , mobile printing thru WIFI network is easy to configure. But in MPC 2504EX, it shows FAILED TO CONNECT BECAUSE GUEST USER IS NOT ALLOWED.

You could try using MOPRIA as the print client if Ricoh Device Connector is being fussy.

I guess the machine is stand alone & not connected to the customers network?

How about printing using NFC chip?
