    Ricoh ARMS

We are using Ricoh ARMS every day here, but we have not gotten the firmware update to work yet. Has anyone used ARMS to update firmware? If so, any tips/tricks?

Ive done it on a few machines. It usually takes 2-3 attempts to get all the firmware to update as it seems to only install half the required firmware.

Check the firmware history document for your model. Most older models will require that the System/Copy firmware be at a or above a certain level before updating through @Remote will work.

I have not had much luck pushing via ARMS, but I have had firmware work via @Remote using the Centre Server.

For me ARMS has been nearly useless.

When I press update in ARMS on my smartphone, it looks like it is working, but I do not see any indication at the Ricoh machine. What should I look for at the machine so as I know it is working.

The machines I am using to test are current machines with pretty much up to date firmware, just a version or two behind. @remote updates work. There are no instructions in the ARMS manual to tell how to do the updates or what indications on the machine to look for.
