I have a client that recently purchased a new machine and requires the users to have a limited amount they can print in a month. The amount they want the users to be limited to is 3000. However, the client called me and said that only after a few prints or copies the machine will state they've reached their limit. After checking the WIM it stated that one user had even made 16600 prints. The machine had less than 8000 total prints on it. I am not sure how to proceed with this one. Is it possible it counts other functions as usage? How could the count be so wrong?

Re: MP 6055 - User Code Print Restrictions
I actually figured this one out. You can assign a value to your print volume value from 1-200. It was set to 200 so each print was worth 200 print volume value.Comment

That was what I was going to tell you to check. I made that mistake once. When you learn from a mistake, you tend to remember in the future. It is a weighting factor for inter departmental billing.Comment

No this is set by the person entering the user codes into the address books. I think the default is 1. It has nothing to do with the main meter counter(lease counter).Comment
