Looked in the operators manual and the product support guide for this machine and it looks like it does not support SSL. Another option could be relay.appriver.com on port 2525.
This is what I'm afraid of. I just got off the phone with Ricoh support and they are getting with the product engineer and checking on everything. I will keep this post updated

If this is the case set up free account at SMTP2GO, some limitations but better than you have
In this case, you are incorrect according to the Google support document I posted a link to on the 8th post in this thread.
Option 1 the G Suite SMTP relay does support port 25 but does require that you are a registered G Suite or an older Google Appsuser and does limit you to sending to no more than 10,000 recipients a day, note this is recipients not emails. It may also requires some configuration by your G Suite administer. Smtp server setting: smtp-relay.gmail.com
Option 2 Gmail SMTP server does not support port 25 and is limited to 2000 messages a day. Smtp server setting: smtp.gmail.com
Option 3 Restricted Gmail SMTP server does support port 25 but requires you send only to other Google users. Smtp server setting: aspmx.l.google.com
I have used Option 3 for schools having G Suite and Google Appsfor years. They usually email to themselves then attach additional information and forward on to the final destination.

Ricoh support confirmed on Friday that SSL is NOT supported on the MPC262. WTF Ricoh. How are you going to introduce a new box and not include support for pretty much every mail system in use today.
Minicopier - Does the relay.appriver.com have a trial period? I just tried it on a c4503 at the office here and it passed mail no problem. If its a free SMTP server and I can get around the Port 25 being blocked via Comcast, I will just use the appriver SMTP.
Thanks!!!!!

Adding support for it likely has an additional cost. Also this thing is pretty much meant as a retail color machine and Ricoh tends to not put a lot of features in those.
Why buy a C262 when they can get you to buy a C2004ex for a lot more?
I bought one as my home office machine and have ran into this issue. I used the non ssl server and scan to my Gmail account and forward. I've also got a NAS HDD that has a public partition I can scan to as well...
I had a new install last week on a SPC262 and for the life of me I could not get scan to gmail working. I contacted tech support and they could not get it to work either.
Any ideas? I kept getting either "Net Communication error" or "Server Connection Error"
Its a simple gmail email using smtp.gmail.com and Port 465. Issue was I cant find where to select SSL for auth.
