    Head height adjustment. Do auto first if that doesn't work do manual. I have about 25 of these monsters. That should work for you. Also check your paper. These babies are picky about paper.

        Print head was bad, replaced the black print head only to be followed by the color print head going south and causing the dreaded "open cover" problem a couple weeks later. Customer decided it was time for the machine to go out to pasture.
