Please can anybody advise on a issue i have with a Ricoh MPC2503.
This is a 6 month new machine.
location was in a roof space of a building and the air was hot due to the outside temp being in the 30s and found out the heating was on!
On the first visit machine making a loud noise from the rear left side edge, On investigation the hopped was jammed with toner and the auger was broken.
I also notised that inside the dev unit the toner was solid around the auger to the edge causing it to not to move and the toner was compressed going into the dev unit.
constantly asking for toner so everything was backing up.
Fitted a new hopper & hopper feed motor, sub hopper was free of any solid toner. Also fitted a PCDU and new toner as it was not recognising the old toner bottle.
Started printing a treat. no noise and the Yellow test pattern no issues.
At the end of the day customer rings back and same issue, compated toner in hopper that then caued the hopped to break.
I disabled the low toner warning in sp mode and it prints fine wich tells me all motors woring and pcdu seems to be doing what it should do.
Ss a side note the heating has now been turned off and the temp is slightly cooler, also the machine has been moved out of the roof space and into the office that has a window for a cooler work place.
Is there something i have missed?
Has anybody else had a similar issue?
Will be returning this Thursday 05/07/2018 with a new hopper and would love to get to the bottom of this machine.
Thanks in advance
Dave
