Clearly it wasn’t there when I posted that

D127-4459 gate plate. If this is the guide that was broken there is a switch actuator on one end

                Absolutely that's it!
But why would one think that a broken guide like that would have ANYTHING at all to do with a jam indicator or overall function of a machine? Afterall, it does appear to be a pretty redundant part.
Wow..His answer is actually in his post

Clearly this new batch of junior technicians must think we are all master mind readers here with as little information they out if their initial posts.

                    Re: Jam question

Too many people think that the forums are SMS or whatsapp messages.

On the other hand, the lack of interest that is detected when asking the question is usually related to not finding the solution to the breakdown before getting here, throwing the stone, to see if they tell me what happens.

Only the way to ask the question, denotes that there is no method to follow, the guides are not checked, the code of jam in Sp 7xxx is not checked, sensors are not tested in input check.

I am also Junior Tech, but I dedicate it to write a post 20 minutes with google translator, just because the time of others is worth as much as mine and I have to give the maximum information so as not to make others waste their time.

Me thinks it's because they were never trained to DIAGNOSE the problem! I see the most BASIC of troubleshooting steps COMPLETELY overlooked. Hardly anyone READS a manual anymore, never mind try on their own to figure out the problem. Sad.
